January Update
Latest update:
1. The new pads are on but they are VERY tight. I bled the brakes but they are still quite stiff and I will need to do some fine tuning.
2. The carb has been fixed and streamlined with a one-piece shaft instead of shaft+wingnut.
3. I was able to remove the washers that held the right front wheel in place and am still looking for two new lugs.
4. The battery has been recharged and is awaiting connection.
Wyatt and I will probably plan a workday soon to fine tune the brakes and possibly do a few other tweaking features on the Midget and his Miata. Keep your fingers crossed for some chrome bumpers in the near future!

Midget Update 11/5
Finally got the washers off the RF wheel. It took a set of metal chisels and a much larger hammer but the washers are off and the pads are out. As soon as I can get the new parts in we'll take it for a few test laps in the garage.
While waiting on pads (and two lugs + posts), I also plan to tweek the carb a bit and possibly do some small cosmetic projects.

Midget Update
Hope to get some fresh pics up here soon. Right now I am in the slow process of changing the brake pads. Normally this is not a hard task, but there is a slight delay on the right front. The previous owner put washers under the lugs. Not a good idea. The wheel is stuck and I have to find a way to get it off!
So far, the options seem to be chisel or torch.
Any ideas?
